moving to the valley
despite knowing about stardew ever since 2020, i didn't start playing until 2024, after a friend gifted me a copy on steam. i was initially interested in the game after the release of chappell roan's 'good luck babe', and the edits including the bachelorettes Haley to the song.
i mostly played co-op worlds with my friends, and had an on-and-off relationship with the game. i didn't find myself that interested until this year, where my friend group started a brand new save for the upcoming summer.
this shrine will be dedicated to my newfound love for the game, and track my progress for my own personal save file.

Haley
my first marriage candidate! when chappell roan released her single "good luck babe", hundreds of edits to the song featuring haley popped up around tiktok. this was how i fell in love with her, despite her self-centered personality. her character development is one of my favorites, going from a stereotypical 'mean girl' to one who begins to reconnect with nature.
first married on: Fall 6, Year 1.
Sebastian
in all honesty, i don't know how i ended up becoming a sebastian fan. he never seemed like he would be a character that piqued my interest. plus, i was much more interested in his sister, maru. however, after playing the game more and watching his cutscenes, i realized how much i related to him. i think his character is really interesting, and it's nice to see how he changes throughout his storyline.
